Are curved wings on a plane better that flat wings?

A:

Wings need to be curved to achieve lift. The curve forces the air above the wing to speed up, and according to Bernoulli's principle, faster moving air exerts lower pressure than slower moving air. The air under the wing remains slower than the air above, which means it will have higher pressure, and push the wing up.
