Unfortunately not. There are many factors that affect if you can fly or not: your size, shape, your weight... The machine in this timeless movie is too large and bulky to be aerodynamic, and would have had too much drag to fly. It's also too heavy, with all that wood and those chickens inside. It wouldn't have been able to produce lift, as there are no airfoils, and finally, there would be practically no thrust comming fromt he wings.
