Q:

How can you move a rocket without using fire?

A:

There are multiple alternative methods to propel spacecraft. One methods is ion propulsion. Electrons are fired into neutral atoms causing them to release more electrons. This creates something called plasma which is a super hot, ionized gas. This ejected gas propels the spacecraft forward creating thrust. Another method called laser propulsion uses light to generate thrust. Lasers from Earth are directed at the spacecraft and as the light particles hit the “light sails” on the spacecraft, they push it forward generating thrust.
