Q:

What kinds of things work in the absense of gravity and which ones don't?

A:

Many objects (such as computers and cameras) work just as well in space as they do on Earth, while some that depend on weight to function don't work very well.

For example, you need a special toilet  in space, since gravity is not on your side. Beds, showers and coffee machines all rely on gravity too, so astronauts have to use specialized versions.

Think about what objects only work because you assume its weight will keep it down. What would happen to them if you took them to space?
