Q:

What surface coating or polish best reduces surface friction on paint?

A:

“Best" is a subjective term and so there is not one best answer. Your choice of surface coating depends on what, where, and why you want to reduce surface friction. For aerospace applications, Tungsten Disulfide (WS2), Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2), and various forms of Teflon are all used to reduce surface friction on a variety of surfaces including paint.
