Q:

Are there robots from different countries on the moon?

A:

The lunar rovers help us explore the terrain and structure of planets other than our own. The first successful lunar rover was Lunokhod 1, which was launched by the Soviet Union. It could perform laser ranging experiments, observe solar X-rays, measure local magnetic fields, and study the soil of the moon. Since then, many probes had been landed on the surface of the moon, and many orbiters have orbited our satellite. In December 2013, the Chinese rover "Yutu" or "Jade Rabbit" began its exploration of the moon. It is currently the only rover on the surface of the moon.
