Q:
Can dynamic air pressure exceed static air pressure?
A:
If the velocity of the plane is fast enough, dynamic air pressure can exceed static air pressure. You usually see it happen at supersonic speeds.
Static air pressure is the pressure exerted by a fluid at rest or if you are moving with that fluid. Dynamic pressure is the pressure of a fluid that results from its motion. It is the difference between the total pressure and static pressure.
