Q:
How did the space station get to space?
A:
The International Space Station (ISS) was assembled in parts, with the first one, the Russian module Zarya, launched in 1988. All of the Russian modules, except for Rassvet, were launched and docked robotically. The rest of the modules were delivered by the space shuttles and installed by the crew of the ISS and the space shuttles.
