Q:
How do helicopters fly?
A:
Helicopters use propellers to fly. Propellers are wings with a twist. When the propellers spin, air speeds up on the top of the propeller and slows down underneath it because of the propeller's special shape. This creates low air pressure on top and high air pressure on bottom. That change in air pressure allows helicopters to fly.
