Q:
How do pilots get information on direction or distance they need to travel ?
A:
Pilots have a lot of intsruments to help them fly. They can use attitude indicaters to help them figure out how straight they're flying, Heading indicators to tell them their direction. Using GPS, they can see just where they are and how far they are from their destination.
They also communicate through a radio with airplane towers, which tell them information they can't get from their flight instruments, such as if planes are heading their way.
