Q:
How does an aircraft's speed affect the amount of lift that its wings create?
A:
The faster an airplane goes, the more lift it will create. The way that we figure out how much lift a wing can create is using the lift equation. The equation includes the term V^2, which is the velocity of the air moving over the wing, squared. Therefore, as an airplane moves faster, the wings will create more lift.
