How does sky writing work?
A:
Skywriting airplanes carry a container of oil on the back of their engines, which creates smoke when combined with the exhaust. At cold, high altitudes, the mixture appears to hover like a cloud before it is dispersed by the wind.
These days, you may see letters that look dotted. This is called sky typing, and it was designed so that the letters last longer.
