Q:
How much lift force is required to lift 300kg microlight aircraft?
A:
To lift something off of the ground, an opposing force of equal or superior strength needs to be applied.
So, if gravity is pulling the 300kg aircraft down, the plane has a weight of 3000 Newtons (that's 300kg times 9.8m/s^2, the rate of accelration caused by gravity): we need a lift force exceeding 3000N to lift it up.
