Q:

How much would I weigh on Jupiter if I was 40 kilograms on Earth?

A:

Jupiter is a massive planet, the biggest in our solar system, and it has a stronger gravitational pull than Earth. In fact, its gravity is about 2.4 times as strong as Earth's. This means, if you weigh 40 kg (88 lbs) on Earth you would weigh 94 kg (207 lbs) on Jupiter. But even though you may weigh more, your mass doesn't change! This is because your weight is based on the pull of gravity, but your mass is just the "stuff" you're made of. If gravity increases then your weight increases, but you're still made out of the same "stuff". You can find out more about Jupiter here and you can learn about your weight on other planets here!
