A:
NASA is currently working on making space suits more devoted to planetary exploration than working outside the ISS. The Z2 space suit is quite remarkable: it will use 3D printing to adapt pieces to the astronaut wearing it, and has an extremely hard shell, so astronauts won't have to worry about damage.
