If gravity is magnetic why does it pull us down and other things that aren't magnets?

A:

Gravity is not a magnetic force. The standard model defines four forces that act from a distance: Weak Force, Strong force, Magnetism, and Gravity. These four forces are incredibly mysterious to us, and no one actualy knows exactly how or why they work.

Gravity can affect magnets, and magnets can affect gravity. The two forces are very different.
