Q:
If there is no drag in space, how does a rocket even work when there is nothing to stop moving, so there is nothing to "push" the ship from it?
A:
Although there is no drag in space, rockets must find other ways to stop moving in a direction. The most effective method to stop a rocket from moving in one direction is to create thrust in the opposite direction.
