Q:
Is a rocket engine a jet engine as well?
A:
A rocket engine is different from a jet engine, because they have to work in different environments.
Jet engines (like the ones you listed) take in air from the surrounding environment to create a combustion, while rocket engines have to carry it along in the form of a liquid or solid oxydizer, since there is no air in space.
