Q:
What are VTOL and CTOL?
A:
VTOL stands for vertical take-off and landing, which is when an aircraft can take off and land like a helicopter instead of needing to speed up over a runway. CTOL stands for conventional take-off and landing, which is when the plane needs some sort of runway to take-off.
