Q:
What are winglets?
A:
Winglets are devices used on the tips of a wing to reduce vortex drag, which are "tornadoes" formed by the difference of pressure on the upper and lower surfaces of the wing as the air rejoins. The winglets are bent upwards and are used on many airplanes today.
