Q:
What is the average size for a Space Shuttle?
A:
There were three parts to each Space Shuttle. The orbiter is the airplane-like craft where the crew lived and worked. An external tank that held fuel. Two solid rocket roosters provided the Shuttle's lift in the first two minutes of flight. All three combined have a weight of 2000 tons and, together, were 56 meters (184 feet) tall.
