Q:
What is the difference between speed and velocity?
A:
Speed is the rate at which an object moves, while velocity is a vector quantity, and describes the rate at which an object changes position.
If a man runs a circular mile in ten minutes, his speed is six miles an hour; but since he returned to his original position, his velocity is zero.
