Q:
What is the part/component of a rocket engine that reaches the highest temperature during operation?
A:
The combustion chamber of the rocket engine is where all the air and fuel is ignited, so this area will be the hottest. In the F1 engine (five of these were used to make up the Saturn V rocket), the combustion chamber would be close to 3300°C (6,000°F).
