Q:

When I run, I feel wind in my face. Where is that wind coming from?

A:

Air is made up of molecules, which sit between you and your destination. As you run, you're pushing those molecules out of the way, and they are pushing back: this is called drag.  When you walk, you feel this resistance, but not as much as when you run. The faster you move through the air, the more you're fighting against the molecules, and more they'll push back against you.
