Where does air go when a plane wing hits it?
A:
When air hits an airplane wing, it goes above and below the wing. However, when it moves above and below, it generates something very important for flight: the force of lift! Lift has a lot to do with the wing shape, and how the air travels across that wing shape. The wing shape uses the Bernoulli Principle to achieve this lift. Thanks for the question!
