Can we send a satellite to the sun?
A:
Sure! But it probably wouldn't help us too much. We can see the sun just fine from right here on Earth - the light it sends at us tells us everything we need to know. Plus, it's very hot, and we'd need thermal shielding to protect the probe from the heat.
