How long are an airplane's wings?
A:
Wing aspect ratio is the proportion between the length of the wing and the length of the fuselage. There needs to be a certain length to acheive lift, but if the wing is too long and there will too much drag.
For example, the Boeing 747 would have a wingspan of 65 meters (211 feet).
