Q:
Why do jets need oxygen?
A:
Jets need oxygen in order to create a combustion. A combustion is when something burns. In this case, air mixed with jet fuel is ignited inside the jet engine, creating the combustion that pushes on every side of the engine. Without this combustion, a jet engine cannot create any thrust.
