Q:
Would buoyancy work in space?
A:
The force of buoyancy would not exist in space. Buoyancy is an upward force applied to an object in the presence of gravity. It is caused by a pressure difference of the fluid between the top and bottom of the object. This force cannot exist in a microgravity environment.
